“With ACE, I believe that I will achieve my goals. After college, I plan to become a Construction Manager for a large construction firm and eventually start my own construction firm in Northeast Ohio.”
The ACE Mentor Program of Cleveland is a free after-school mentorship program to introduce high school students to careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
Students are mentored by professionals in the design and construction industry who meet as a team bi-weekly during the school year for two hours after school. The after-school program is once a week from September through May. Each team has representation from architects, engineers (structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical), and construction managers.
Registration and completion of the Parent Consent Form are both required to participate in the program.

One of the most impactful contributions of the ACE Mentor Program of Cleveland is the scholarship program. Since 2008, the Cleveland chapter has awarded over $1.4 million in scholarships to local students who have participated in the program. ACE Cleveland provides an opportunity for high school seniors actively involved in ACE to apply for college and trade scholarships.
